Skin and Bones

I managed to wrangle both of my little guys into
their skeleton pajamas and snapped a few
(honestly, more than a few) pictures while they matched.
Aren't they boo-tiful?

Think-Think-Think

This isn't just a nap...he's deep in thought.

Bath Time

I gave Deegan his first bath a few nights ago (if I wasn't sleep deprived I'm sure I could remember which-if I had to guess I'd say Saturday).

Camden climbed right up on the counter willing to offer his two years of bath taking experience. Brian was on standby with the video camera capturing the first of many dips in the tub.

We had a few initial tears which quickly subsided once I started washing and pouring water over him. We've had minimal tears during his subsequent baths, usually at the initial entry into the tub. I think we have a second little water baby on our hands.

He's Awake

Deegan is just one day short of being four weeks old and is
starting to spend more time awake during the day.
I'm finally able to snap pictures with his eyes open.
(we're still not too sure what color those beautiful eyes are going to be)

It's the Great Pumpkin

At least it was until we cut it open, scooped out its guts and carved a face into it. Now it is better than great...its fabulous!
This was Camden's first pumpkin carving experience and he had so much fun that we've already picked up a second larger pumpkin to cut into tomorrow evening. Truth be told, Brian and
I had as much fun as he did.

Pumpkin Patch

Sunday evening we ventured to a local pumpkin patch to let Camden pick out his own little pumpkin to carve.

Once we arrived at the pumpkin patch I made him take a picture with his little brother before he headed straight for the hay pile without so much as giving the field of pumpkins a second glace.

We managed to select the perfect little pumpkin before having to coax him out of the hay pile for the second time. Next year he'll probably request a visit to the hay pile rather than the pumpkin patch.
As he said "That's my favorite thing Momma."

My Boys

I snapped a couple of quick pictures of my boys before we headed out the door for church on Sunday morning. Words can't express how much I love these two little guys. Aren't they adorable??

Party Like a Princess

Yes, that's right...a princess!

Camden was invited to his first princess party by his first admitted best friend, Kennedy. He, along with several other friends from
his class at school joined in the festivities.

There were games, food, prizes, candy, balloons, cake, songs and a visit by a very special princess-Snow White. Camden was the prince of the party; not simply because he was the only boy there. We figure it that it won't be the last princess party he attends since
most days he's the only boy in his class.

Happy Birthday Kennedy!

Another Park Day

Can you tell the weather is starting to change?
We sure can; hints the reason we've been heading outside much as possible. The amazing fall, winter and spring weather almost
makes up for the horrible summer heat...almost.

Chuck E. Cheese

Before Brian's Mom left last week we ventured out to Chuck E. Cheese's. Not being a fan of overpriced mediocre pizza we only dropped ten dollars on coins for the games and rides. Camden had a blast and managed to score enough tickets to walk away with three small suckers, a paint sheet and two sheets of stickers.

Deegan's Baptism

Last Sunday Deegan was baptized at church. He slept through the entire service and didn't even flinch when his sweet little head was sprinkled with water. We were so thankful to have my parents and Brian's mother attend the beautiful service.
