Tickle The Ivories

Camden has always been fond of his little piano he has at home. He'll pass by it and bang on the keys with both fist or use his pointer fingers to hit numerous keys individually; afterwards he'll look around to see who's watching, grin and do it all over again. It's precious!
Well, imagine how excited he was to get to bang on Nana's great big piano.
He was so happy playing his own little tunes.
He even accompanied Nana as she played a few songs.
He loved it!

Perhaps there are piano lessons in his future?

Two Peas in a Pod

Camden absloutly loved having his Cousin Madison to play with!
And Madison was more than thrilled to have her "Baby Camden" to play with!

This is really the first time they've played with eachother.
That sounds weird...they've played together 100's of times, but they haven't really "played." Does that make since?

Anyway, Camden is finally getting to an age where he can play cooperatively with other kids. It probably helps that he can really run now; it's easier for him to keep up with her.

They were best buddies all week. He really misses her too, now he's stuck back at home with his boring ol' mommie.
(my words, not his...he thinks I'm wonderfully entertaining but I feel it's hard to compete with a four-year-old! lol)

We miss you Madison!
Remember who's your favorite!

Let's Hit The Road

I apologize for the blogging drout but there are many, many, many more to come to make up for my lack of post the last two weeks.
We went to Levelland last week to spend time with my family, see friends and attend my "bubba's" wedding. We made an exhausting 10 hour drive last Friday. One highlight of the trip was our pitstop for lunch. We've passed this little park outside of Waco everytime we drive home and have never stopped...until now that is. We picked up some Rudy's BBQ, found a shaded table, ate lunch and hit the playground.

It was a perfect pitstop!

Stay tuned...more to come! :)
