Sprinkle No More

Camden loves his little sprinkle pool.
Correction-loved his sprinkle pool.
The ring along the edge of the pool would fill with water from the hose and create a sprinkler ring around the shallow pool. That was,
until Camden jumped onto the ring with the water running
causing the seam along the ring to burst.
No more sprinkle pool.

The little pool lasted us a little over a year with almost daily use during the summer and I bought it on sale so I can't complain too much. But I must confess, I'm already on the lookout for replacement.

The Sandbox Revisited

Simply more pics of Camden in his sandbox.
I took them about a week ago and it would
be a shame not to post them...
They are just too darn cute!

Thursday is Tumble Day

I've been working with Camden on the days of the week. Nothing formal or structured but when we do certain things on specific days I will tell him things like: Sunday is a church day and Monday is a school day. Or I'll ask him what we do on a specific day. Ask Camden what we do on Thursday and he'll tell you "Thursday we tumble!"

Pool Party Play Date

Camden and I had Katie and her son, Jake, over this morning for a much needed Mommy date. Um...I mean play date for the kids. I took advantage of the warm weather and decided a pool party was the best option for our morning activities. I filled up Camden's kiddie pools and popped juice-pops in to the freezer and our play date was underway. The boys had a blast splashing around the backyard while Katie and I got to chit-chat and work on our tans.

A Field of Bluebonnets

Just a couple of quick pictures that I snapped when Madison and Camden were walking through the Bluebonnets. Camden didn't look that the camera once but at least Madison would pose for me.

Reunited And It Feels So Good

This past weekend Brian, Camden and I loaded up the car and headed to the old farmhouse where my Grandfather grew up outside of Albany. Since it is a little bit of a drive, we broke the trip up and made a pit stop in Ft. Worth to visit my dear friend Dixie and her hubby Jimmy.
(which I have no pictures of)

The farmhouse is over 100 years old. My Grandfather's brothers gather along with their families there each year. We were able to see not only aunts, uncles, cousins and all their kiddos but also both of my brothers, Grandmother, one of my sis-in-laws, my niece Madison and my parents. We spent the day playing outdoors, going for walks, eating yummy BBQ, catching caterpillars and catching up.

I took oodles of pictures.
These are just a few...it would take an entire page to post them all.
