Last weekend when my parents were in town we decided to become tourist and do a little sightseeing. We went to visit the Battleship Texas and the San Jacinto Monument.
It was amazing to walk through a piece of Texas history and learn about how our state fought for its independence.
Oh how I wish I would have paid more attention in Texas history!
